This installation was a culmination of my work from the first half of 2024. Blending carefully crafted objects, from the backlit projection inside a quilted box and the hand-painted peelings wallpaper, with found objects ranging from handwritten correspondences with friends to favorite films, I seek to explore the overlap of the identity as interpreted from the outside with the identity as expressed through direct image and mark. The result is a welcoming corner in which the viewer becomes enveloped in my interior world.
